As announced Bordeaux wines have seen their prices soar.
Indeed the addition of an exceptional 2009 vintage and the mass arrival of Chinese buyers have pushed up prices of 20-30% on average.
These are the most recognized brands that have most benefited from this increase in rates. We noted in previous articles that the Chinese market would help balance the cons of general decline in the crisis. In fact exports were lowered by 15% in volume and 23% in value during 2009, but at the same time the Chinese market him increased 97% in volumes.
